Conceptual photography through visual encounters.

About me

Artist Statement

I am a conceptual artist with a camera, capturing real moments.

I create conceptual frameworks in which images emerge through investigation, observation and interaction. The physical world, light and the perception of reality are my subjects.

My images are fragments of a story rather than fixed conclusions. They leave room for interpretation, surprise and imagination, while remaining connected to something real.

My style is minimalist, sculptural and experimental. The work is carefully considered, but not over-determined. I create conditions in which meaning can emerge through the relationship between object, light, image and viewer.

The viewer completes the story. For me, art is a conversation. I begin with visual fragments and encounters, but the final meaning develops through the viewer’s response.

My intention is to create work that engages on a psychological level, invites reflection and leaves a memorable impression.

I am influenced by New Objectivity, Surrealism and Conceptual Art, as well as artists including Ed Ruscha, László Moholy-Nagy, Joan Fontcuberta and Sol LeWitt.

In the future, I will expand this approach through still-life stop-motion animations, where pacing, sequence and sound can extend my visual storytelling.
